Visitors attending a debate or committee meeting enter Parliament at St Stephen's Entrance, and then pass through St Stephen's Hall to the Central Lobby. The original St Stephen's Hall acted as the House of Commons Chamber for a time, but was destroyed by the fire of 1834, and rebuilt by Charles Barry and Augustus Pugin. Visit the UK Parliament website for more information on St Stephen's Hall. This image is subject to parliamentary copyright. www.parliament.uk/
