I Description I Vintage, exquisite, framed sketch showing the apartment and corresponding corner of prolific and influential classical composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Mozarts Geburtshaus translates to Mozart's birthplace. This apartment was the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at No. 9 Getreidegasse in Salzburg, Austria. The Mozart family resided on the third floor from 1747 to 1773. Mozart was born here on 27 January 1756. The sketch is signed in pencil by the artist. On the bottom left is written, "Salburg" in the center is "Original Radierung" which means "Original Etching" and his signature to the right. Its undated but based on the technique I'd say its circa 1920s-40. It has been framed in a modern, golden colored frame. This piece came in as a trio of Salzburg sketches so please check out the other pieces if you'd like to keep the set together. Listed item only. Background items are not included.
