Large box built in spring wood with ebony veneer and geometric inlays in bronze and spring wood. The influence for this piece came from Marion Dorn's design of the black and cream geometric patterned rug in the lounge of The Claridge's Hotel in London, designed in the 1930s. The use of metallic finishes and the geometric shapes are representing of the Art Deco movement, which was the biggest inspiration for this collection.
