A gorgeous necklace, made to match my best selling earrings. This necklace is made using vintage brass rhinestone chain, hand-set with emerald green round stones. A single, large teardrop shaped jewel hangs from the center of the emerald rhinestones. The pear shaped stone is a rare, green fire opal. Green fire opals are stunning, with areas of light and dark greens, silver and hits of blue and yellow. Each stone seems to "glow" with a blue-purple highlight infused into the stone by the glass-maker over 50 years ago. Green fire opals are much more rare than their pink cousins. The fire opal is set into an American made, antique brass prong setting. The stone measures over 1" long. Rhinestone portion of the necklace measures roughly 5" across and connects to vintage brass link chain. Closes with a antique brass clasp. Please choose desired necklace length at checkout. Chain and findings are nickel and lead free.
