Kesilim - Mentioned in a Jewish text called Sefer Emek Ha-Melekh, these demonic tricksters are known to take pleasure in misleading and deceiving unwitting human victims, and then cruelly mocking them when misfortune inevitably befalls them. Accordingly, their name means 'fooling spirits'. They are likely related to jester-like demons known as Lezim, which cause poltergeist activity and havoc around afflicted households.
