Bank of Canada 1935 One Thousand Dollar note The $1000 Dollar note was printed by Canadian Bank Note Company. The front carries a portrait of Sir Wilfrid Laurier, Canada’s seventh prime minister. The portrait, which depicts Laurier wearing a Prince Albert coat, was engraved by ABN's master engraver, Edwin Gunn.
