2.1K views · 2.6K reactions | More Details 📍 Only 45 minutes from Bentonville is Beebe’s Waterslide. On the Missouri side of the border, next door to Roaring River State Park in Cassville, MO is Beebe’s. Roaring River is a beautiful and amazing state park full of trout, so having this slide experience built into the Missouri Ozark Mountains is a real treat before or after a long day of fishing 🎣. They are open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, and usually closed on Tuesdays. They only accept cash and parking can be tough, so plan accordingly. It’s a great time when it’s hot and it’s not too far from NWA. In fact, it’s under 30 minutes from Pea Ridge and the Beaver Lake region. Who would you invite to go with you down this slide? #findingnwa #missouriadventure @visitmo @southernlivingmag @time @natgeoyourshot #summervibes @mostateparks @midwestlivingmag | Larry Fleury | frenchfusemusic · French Fuse - Space 🎶

a stone bridge over a river with the words ball creek stone bridge payson, illinois
23K views · 2K reactions | 🪨 Hidden gem alert! ⚠️⠀ While passing through the Quincy, Illinois area I noticed on Google maps a green park icon for Fall Creek Stone Arch Bridge. I had never heard of this place before but it was well worth a stop! ⠀ 🔹The bridge is part of Fall Creek Scenic Overlook Park which was developed as a rest area long ago near Payson. The bridge itself dates all the way back to 1855 and is an impressive sight now hidden in the woods. 🔹The bridge spans a clear creek filled with cascades and small waterfalls. Upstream of the bridge is an even taller waterfall area. 🔹There are two ways to reach the bridge. Turn at the Fall Creek Park sign and park at the first parking area on your left. Follow the paved path past the restrooms and along the creek. When the paved portion ends at a collapsed overlook, continue on the more rugged and slightly overgrown dirt path. This trail passes under the highway bridge and reaches the top of the stone bridge. Follow the side trail on the right side of the bridge to reach the creek level. 🔹Another option is to turn on 1150th st. just before the highway bridge and park on the right side of the road by the fence and gate. From here it is a short walk to the top of the bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the path to your left to the creek. 🔹The Fall Creek Overlook Park also includes a second parking area at a scenic overlook of the River valley. ⚠️ Use caution exploring here as the creek can be slick and the paths can be overgrown. Remember to pack out what you bring in and leave the bridge and nature as you found them. ⠀ 📍Park address is 1130 N 223rd Ln, Payson, IL 62360 @enjoyillinois #midwesttravel #midwesthiddengem #middleofeverything #midwestmoment #backroadsusa #ustravel | Sara Lesire | Family Travel & Adventure | Midwest & More | Archer Marsh · Give Me Everything (Stripped Down)
