Budget friendly fall wreath recipe | BUDGET FRIENDLY WREATH RECIPE & TIPS AND TRICKS TO CREATE IT!!! Don’t be mad (I know it’s early for Fall 🧡💛🖤) but I just had to show you this really... | By On A Whimm Wreaths and Decor by Dona | Don't be mad but I want to show you really quick a very very pretty fall wreath with very limited products okay so don't be mad but I just feel like there's a lot of this stuff being sold right now rather it's online or in stores and I want you to know what to look for so the very first thing I want you to look for is two large beautiful sprays like this now this could be any season any holiday for this recipe okay so it could be any greenery but we're going to use long needle pine so we need two large sprays and you want a few long needle pine sprays and we're literally putting this back in the back as a backdrop one at the top now we're going to go one at the bottom and we're just going to put it right on in there and then pull those items kind of up through the very first spray that we added. We've kind of incorporated in there. We're moving it around as you can see. Some up, some down, and now you can see how that is moved all the way throughout both the top and the bottom of those sprays. This is already beautiful. We literally have four things in there. So, let's go ahead and create a bow. I'm using some really pretty plaids. Again, any kind of colored ribbon that would match your picks and sprays is what you need to find. I really love this plaid. One of the reasons I really liked it is it is double sided which is nice. Same goes for this velvet. It is double sided. That one side is green and we're actually going to use that velvet and we're going to use both sides. So, we're going to go back in with that exact same ribbon and use the green side. So, this is one of my favorite hacks. If you all really struggle with putting ribbons together and things like that, looking for double-sided ribbons will cut your work in half because you can usually, you can literally use the same spool of ribbon and just flip it side to side for your bow. So, easy little hack. So let's go in here and we're going to add our zip tie. And get our bow all fluffed out and I'm adding a zip tie to the back and then we're going to add this right to the center right between the two first sprays that we added. These are really close together but we will be able to incorporate this bow quite nicely so we're going to get that down in there. I'm just going to go ahead and use a zip tie right there and it'll go right through the center of our bow. Cinch that on down. Fluff out your bow. Kinda get it where you want it. Cut your tails. Get them done. You could do this at the end or you can do this now. Totally up to you. I always say designer's choice on this but I kind of like to know where my loops and tails are going to be. So, we're going to add an accent of a filler bush. This is an orange 60 91nine filler bush and I'm going to use two. So, we're going to use three pieces at the top and three pieces at the bottom. I actually think I use three. So, I think I use pieces. So this recipe's super simple. Two large sprays that we added in first. This is two large fall sprays. Some kind of a greenery. We use long needle pine here. And then a filler bush. I used orange six oh 9 one9. That is all of the contents of this gorgeous wreath. And when I hold this up here in a minute it is really really pretty and it's large and it was so so simple. So you could even go ahead here at the end and add in an accent with just a little bit of berry if you want. This is just something that you could add. Don't feel like you have to. I had these on hand so I went ahead and added them. So y'all I hope you don't mind me throwing in a little fall video here. But for those of you that make what you sell sell what you make. What the world. It's early y'all. It's like 5: 30 in the morning. For those of you guys who sell what you make you have to get started early and I have people already buying Halloween and fall, you guys. So, it is definitely not too early and if you just like to create for yourself, you just never know when the perfect pick or spray is going to show up from your favorite online vendor or maybe even at your favorite retailer. So, I wanted this recipe to be out there for you guys to be able to make something really pretty and one I wanted to tell you is this wreath is about 34 inches in length and it was about 26 inches across so it turned out really really big and if you did enjoy this I would love it if you would give me a little share it's my it's the easiest way to help me in my small business

She'll be using this basket and candle holder from Dollar Tree and some wood pieces from Hobby Lobby. I took this eight inch wood round from Hobby Lobby. Painted the entire thing with one coat of black chalk paint by Folkart. Also took this two and a half inch thick wood round also from Hobby Lobby. And painted that the same color as well as this dowel cap. All of the wood pieces just got one coat. And then I took this glass candle holder from Dollar Tree and painted that with the same black chalk paint. That took two coats to get it fully covered. Next on the bottom of the basket I added some gorilla grip glue to a few of the wires and then added some hook glue and placed down my two and 1/ 2 inch wood piece and then hook glued my dowel cap to the center of that wood piece. And then I took the gorilla grip glue again. Put some on top of the candle holder. As well as hot glue. And then placed down my eight inch wood round. Just trying to get it centered on there. Then I just placed the top on. And so I'm decorating it for fall. Added some Spanish moss. Some of these pumpkins from Dollar Tree. They just have little clips on the bottom so I just pulled them off or cut them off. And then added in some fall florals as well. And that is it. Super easy to do and looks great. I zip tied the garlands on about every 5 feet. I got these from Hobby Lobby. And then I started filling the underneath space of the table with faux pumpkins and then also one of them going up the stairs. I used small greenery picks to fill in the spaces. Then I moved on to decorating the table using all stems from Hobby Lobby, lanterns, and more pumpkins. Love the final look and now onto the next space of the house.
