Vinyasa classes can often be thought of as being powerful, athletic & sweaty, which they absolutely can - I love a good power flow! However, vinyasa can be for anyone and everyone no matter your ability, desires and wants from a practice. If you don’t enjoy very dynamic practices then vinyasa is still for you. Breathe to movement. - that’s all it is 🥰 . I will usually offer a modification of staying in a runners lunge for those that do not want to go in to this transition. I’m super excited to teach my Vinyasa class tomorrow @bodybalance_williamsburg . I have a fun sequence that will move you through a flow & take you to the top of the mat to complete the sequence from a one legged mountain to balance/staple poses 😉 . I will post the flow next week. I have not had time to film it since I have been busy with the foster dog & my family. This week we are still focusing on Satya the second Yama. Infinity flows are a great option because you can learn the sequence slowly, but then piece it together from one side to the other, giving your shoulders a rest without excessive chaturangas in between… while keeping the body moving and flowing. Dive into the rhythm, learn the sequence, then break free from vinyasa constraints. 🧘‍♀️🔗 Seamless movement without interruption.
