Laura Louise Yoga | Yoga Teacher & Educator on Instagram: "VINYASA✨ The link between breath and movement. ‘Vinyasa’ is derived from the Sanskrit term ‘ nyasa’ which means ‘to place’ and the prefix vi, - ‘in a special way’ . As I’m sure we all know, vinyasa flow is a practice that has my heart. Vinyasa classes can often be thought of as being powerful, athletic & sweaty, which they absolutely can - I love a good power flow! However, vinyasa can be for anyone and everyone no matter your ability, desires and wants from a practice. If you don’t enjoy very dynamic practices then vinyasa is still for you. Breathe to movement. - that’s all it is 🥰 . Give this short seated flow for your upper body a go, try it connecting the breath to each movement🤍 . . . #vinyasaflow #vinyasa #seatedflow #gow Lying Yoga Poses, Gentle Yoga Poses, Yoga Flow For Beginners, Yoga Vinyasa Flow Sequence, Yin Yoga Flow, Yoga Flow Sequence Beginners, Gentle Yoga Flow Sequence, Yoga Sequence Vinyasa Flow, Slow Flow Yoga Sequence

Trisha Meacham on Instagram: "✨Join me for some of my favorite yoga warm up poses. What are some staple warm up poses/flows you do in your class or practice?

✨I love gate pose & modified side plank together. This warm up builds up to them through gate pose legs , hip circles, & rocking back & forth. I love the thread the needle towards the end & you can play around with different arm variations there as well. For an eagle flow I would offer eagle arms and then fold instead of the thread the needle variation. Do you enjoy a bind in thread the needle? I always offer it as an additional option for students who like to bind.

✨A few weeks back I spoke about pratyahara- withdrawing from the senses - to my classes & this week we will be revisiting dharana. I love speaking to students & worki Eagle Pose Yoga, Yoga Warm Up, Warm Up Yoga, Yoga Flow Sequence, Evening Yoga, Yin Yoga Poses, Yoga Sculpt, Eagle Pose, Yoga Movement

Kate Taylor 🧘🏻‍♀️ on Instagram: "Sometimes our yoga practice can become very linear, moving in sequences that involve us taking poses on the right side of the body, then repeating those same poses on the left. This is all well and good, but if we always practice in this way, our brains get used to the movement, meaning we can lose focus. Last week I decided to switch it up, working with a mandala flow. “Mandala” is a Sanskrit word that means “complete” or “circle.” We moved all around the mat, transitioning through poses in different ways to make the journey. The back of the mat becomes the front, we have a different view point, and we are pushed out of that comfortable linear style of moving. If you want to try this style of movement you can join me at The Spring Retreat @anahatayo Yoga Flow Inspiration, Creative Yoga Flow Sequence, Mandala Yoga Sequence, Eagle Pose Yoga Sequence, Gentle Yoga Flow Sequence, Yoga Sequence Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga Flow Sequence, Vinyasa Yoga Flow Sequence, Flow Yoga Sequence
