VISUALLiteracy 90% of all the information that we take in from the world we take in visually. We actually read non-text 60,000 times faster than we can read text. A lot of time is spent on written comprehension. Not so much on visual and audio visual comprehension. However student exposure to visual and audio-visual mediums far outstrips written content consumption.
