Ingredients : 1 lb split pea flour 1 lb all-purpose flour 1/2 lb fresh spinnach 1 tablespoon curry powder (chief) 2 teaspoons ground cumin 1 tsp yeast 1 tsp. of sugar pinch of salt 1 onion, minced 1/2 garlic head, about 6 cloves minced 1 cup of vegetable oil Instructions : 1. Get a 1/2 cup of water and dissolve the teaspoon of sugar. With this solution add the yeast and stir. 2. After visiting Trinidad and Tobago, I want to share some of the recipes I tried while I was visiting the beautiful country, and recipes that I have learned from Trini bloggers. I am not Trinidadian, but since discovering delicious recipes by Caribbean food bloggers like @cookingwithria, I am hooked on Trinidadian food.   This doubles recipe is by @cookingwithria with minor changes. The most notable change is that I am using cilantro instead of culantro/chadon/shado beni which is traditionally used in Trinidadian cooking and can be found at Asian, Caribbean or African grocery stores.
