🧈
But first…let’s understand why our buttercream is yellowish rather than pure white! Butter gets its yellowish tint from the beta-carotene found in the grass that cows eat. The more grass they eat, the yellower the butter tends to be. If you use BUTTER in your BUTTERCREAM, it will have a yellowish tint! But the good news is you can fix it! Yay 🥳

1. Use Pale Butter: experiment with different types and brands of Butter to see which ones are less yellow.

2. Whitening Agents: Add white food coloring to lighten the color of the buttercream.

3. Cancel out the Yellow with Violet: Add a tiny amount of violet food coloring to Violet Food, White Food Coloring, Recipe Developer, Frosting Flowers, Cake Artist, White Food, White Icing, Beta Carotene, Yellow Cake
