When you're short on time and low on budget, take some regular fun kids games and make them into therapeutic counseling games!

I don't know about you, but I love using games to break the ice for small group or indvidual counseling sessions. Games help students get comfortable, allowing them to open up and better explain how they are feeling. My absolute favorite game to play with students is Jenga. Check out my 7 favorite games!

I've been having a hard time lately with some of the older kids I see. They don't see the point or the importance of what we are working on.
