18. Manipulate a wide variety of familiar and unfamiliar objects to observe, describe, and compare their properties using appropriate language. A teacher would create a durable texture book for the class to explore at different times of the day. An example of the material would be pasted to the book along with an appropriate word to describe it (sandpaper-rough). Each child would get to touch different textures and relate them their description. Maggie | Sensory Play at Home on Instagram: "Make this diy recycled bubble blower for an easy way to talk about reusing, repurposing, and recycling this coming Earth Day, or any day 🫧 🌎!

These are so easy to make, comment RECYCLE and I’ll send you the simple details/materials and an easy recipe for diy bubble solution 🫧!

We cut our bubble art creations into circles to represent Earth and glued them to some pieces of brown packing paper. We plan to write simple ways we can help protect and take care of our planet on the brown paper surrounding our Earth cut outs tomorrow!

If you’re afraid your little one would inhale the solution, use the other side of the bottle instead to just stamp prints on a circle cut out for some fun textured process art instead 😊!"
