Bob Blea on Instagram: "Since yesterday’s post brought in so many beveler questions I thought today’s #tooltiptuesday would be a good place to show the bevelers I use most often. 

The Standard or Common beveler is the design originally made by Al Stohlman and sold by Tandy for many years. It has a shallow face angle so it bevels the leather well away from the cut.  As Sheridan style became more prominent its tight designs make a steeper bevel desirable because it could bevel closer cuts without smashing down the cuts next to it. The Steep or Sheridan style beveler was the result and it lets you work in tighter places. This is the beveler I use most often.
