The inside of the triumphal arch on the facade of the Castel Nuovo in Naples, Italy, is decorated with renaissance carved stone coffering. Each recess contains a unique carving: cherubs, lions' heads, swags of fruit and so on. The arch was created in 1443 by Francesco Laurana to celebrate the city's conquest by Alfonso V of Aragon.
