Splattering paint techniques

This is the best and easiest technique to splatter and flick acrylic paint. This is the perfect painting technique for splattered backgrounds and I love using it in my colourful animal paintings.

To make acrylic paint splatter, some thinning is necessary. The tools used for splatter techniques vary from artist to artist; the brush used and the thickness of the paint will influence the kind of splatter created.
