Tattoos are a long-term investment, so it’s only logical to use good tattoo ideas and designs. In this image rhythm is alternating. The squares or cubes create an alternating rhythm in shapes and with the colors in the image which creates a pattern as well.

Rhythm in art is important because it can make a piece more interesting to look at. It might be the lines, or colors that create this rhythm. A lot of times we see patterns and rhythms in nature - like waves crashing on the beach, trees swaying in the breeze, and shadows created by sunlight passing through leaves.
