This baked ratatouille is also known as confit byaldi, created by Chef Thomas Keller and the inspiration to the ratatouille dish from the Pixar movie, Ratatouille. It consists of layers of zucchini, squash, eggplant, and tomatoes shingled on top of a layer of piperade sauce made of red bell pepper, tomatoes, aromatics, and herbs. This dish is simple, refreshing, and super tasty.

The soup from Ratatouille that Remy fixes is not potato leek soup! In this video I give some reasoning why and show my version of the recipe! I believe it is a more accurate recreation. I hope you enjoy!

RATATOUILLE CENTERPIECE: Got the eiffel tower, the base, & the fake grapes at an Arts & Crafts Store. Got the Chef's hat from a party store. Then, I printed a picture of Remy from the Ratatouille movie, traced the image on black board, & used an exact knife to cut him out. Taped him to the inside of the hat. Added a fake tea light candle inside and turned it on during reception. Had a very tasty effect;)
