Last Week's Quilt Cards Class!

I finished my Quilt Card class last week and just want to post some photos very quickly. The class was a big hit, and a learning experience for all! Besides the cards I made, I also taught everyone how to make a fabric flower. Unfortunately, I was waiting for my fabric to arrive from Stampin' Up, so I ended up going to a LCS to buy a fabric bundle. Enjoy my photos! The cards and fabric flower we made. The card is a Very Vanilla Base, Pink Pirouette mat, and a collection of the Springtime…

Unity Friends with Flair

I have two quilt cards I made for the Friday Unity Friends with Flair. I love playing with pieces of paper, making designs and shapes with them, and this is based on an Ohio Star quilt pattern. I used papers from the LilyBeeDesigns Double Dutch paper pad for this card. I punched 4 - 1" squares of each pattern and then cut each on the diagonal which gave me 8 of each color, then simply pieced them together to form a star. For the center I used a MS button punch, and cut a small circle of dsp…

Birthday Quilt-F4A84 by stampingout - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

Today's Free 4 All challenge was to color block on our project. I decided to create a little paper quilt with some of my Stella & Rose scraps from My Mind's Eye. After laying them all out and adhering them to my cardstock base, I paper pierced around every single square. I then used an archival pen to make a faux zig zag stitch around the squares. I used several distress inks to ink up the edges of all of the papers. I used a nestie to die cut the frame and the sentiment is from Unity…
