Cozy Corner for your classroom. This space can be utilized for children who are upset and want to use self soothing strategies such as: candles taped to flowers to practice deep breaths, a bowl of paper to rip negative emotions away, soft stuffed animals to hold or squeeze, and an emotion wheel/thermometer to recognize and understand the feelings he/she is experiencing.
