Pirate island

For their end term project, our students at Digital Arts and Entertainment had to design a pirate island based on a small backstory. Here are some of the many concepts I did for the pirate island. (During the concept stages I came up with an fictional game title (Windbound - A pirate's revenge).

Misty Island. It is one of a series of images I did for a friend of mine for his new music video. It tells a short story of pirates who discover a mysterious Island in the mist after they hear a beautiful mesmerizing chant. Our goal was to do images which leave room for interpretation as long as possible. So the listener has enough freedom to let his imagination run free.
