Note bright yellow, orange, and black plumes. Easily distinguished from Macaroni Penguin by whitish face, and from Chinstrap Penguin by crests. Like most seabirds they are colonial, nesting in scrapes on the ground up to a mile inland. They feed on krill, small fish, and small amounts of squid.
