This is a project I had the opportunity to do with a local retirement home. I simply offered them free photos of all their residents and they all were very happy to have this opportunity. Maureen is a personal and intimate project about my grandmother who is 91 years of age and lives on her own in Dublin. She was diagnosed with dementia a few years ago. I have been one of her carers for the past few years. During the last year and a half, I started documenting Maureen and her surroundings during my twice-weekly visits, with a mixture of portraits and interior details.
