The narrow streets of Kingsand, Cornwall

The delightfully pretty village of Kingsand, in the far south-east of Cornwall where it overlooks Plymouth Sound, is full of winding narrow streets and little nooks and crannies. Many of the houses date back to the Georgian period. Until the middle of the 19th century Kingsand was actually in Devon, with the county boundary running between Kingsand and its neighbouring village of Cawsand, which was (and is) in Cornwall. The boundary is now marked by the River Tamar.
