Elements Of Art Shape And Form, Line Assignment Art, Elements Of Art Form Projects, Elements Of Art For Preschool, Texture Art Lesson Middle School, Art Types Ideas, Art Fundamentals Form, Middle School Art Worksheets, Line And Shape Art Projects

The Element of Art: Line is a fun element to work with as an art teacher as most art begins with line and line can take on many shapes or forms or expressions. Line works with the other elements: shape, color, form, texture. Line can help create shape or texture. For this reason, it is is a lovely Element of Art to start with in teaching in your art classroom.

Kristen Bourdier on Instagram: "This is just part of one class, y’all! I’m so proud of my Art 1 kids. This was the perfect lesson to do after all the value practice we got while creating our implied form mannequin drawings. I know one thing my art 2 kids will be amazing at next year. 🤩 I think learning to see values and add them to a piece is one of the most important things you can learn as an artist. It makes such a difference in the finished drawing or painting, especially when working from observation.

Today will be my first post in my series of posts called, "Masterpiece Mondays." I LOVE art and I always find time in my day to teach it to my students. Now let me preface this by saying I am not a professional artist and I don't claim to be. I've just always had a passion for art and we teach what we love. This week we were working on 2 and 3 dimensional solids in math. I saw this art on Pintrest and was inspired to try it in my class. To start the activity off I reviewed with the kids our…

4th Grade Shaded Forms 4th grade has been learning about the elements of art, FORM & VALUE. Form is a three-dimensional geometrical figure (like a sphere, cube, cylinder, cone, etc.), as opposed to a shape, which is two-dimensional, or flat. Value is the lightness or darkness of a color. (this project was inspired by an awesome image i found on Marnie Hyland's blog! Check out their awesome art!) Day 1: I demonstrated how to do the project. (I project all of my lessons on a giant screen, so…
