Part of the old town in Troyes in the Champagne region of France. I love this place, it's incredible. The buildings date back to the 16th century and is amazingly preserved, having not suffered in the last wars. It's like something out of a Harry Potter movie - such an amazing place to walk around and photograph!

If you could visit any ancient civilization, which one would you choose?

I have no idea where in France this picture was taken. It sure felt familiar, owing to the fact it reminded me so much of one of Rik Pierce's dollhouses. I sure would love to make it. Though not for my collection, it would be too small. I just think it would be a lot of fun. I even like the color of the green trim. Surely there can't be two doors side by side... Can there?
