Debe Eddn. Olympia, WA. The Foote Street neighbors host a Block Party on Labor Day every year. Last year we decided to build a Little Free Library. A friend volunteered to build it and a neighbor who is an artist volunteered to paint it. We unveiled it at our 2013 Labor Day Block Party and toasted it with champagne and sparkling cider. Three neighborhood boys put the first books in it. We love it! One of our neighbors died too soon - we dedicate it to her.
