Henri Hagelberg on Instagram: "How I create textured petals 🎨  Despite not being an expert in floral textured art, I often get asked how I load a palette knife to create petals and how I'd create floral textured art. So here are some of the ways I do it / some tips. 🙌  Load the palette knife fairly evenly. Adjust the amount of paste depending on how much volume you want for your petals. I tend to like the petals being plump, so I use more paste.  Test out different ways of applying pressure with the palette knife, so how you'd apply them on your canvas. You can keep more pressure on the bottom end of the blade, tip, or evenly across. How you use the palette knife alters the look a bit.   Test out different shaped and sized palette knives for different patterns.
