There's a large 20 inch space above my kitchen cabinets (w/moulding at the top of the cabinets) to the ceiling. I am putting a backsplash above the counters and am leaning toward tiling all the way to the ceiling, even above the cabinets. Is that "normal" or a "no-no"?

The space above my cabinets has always bugged me. I'm not a fan of just putting stuff up there for decor because to me it looks out of place being behind the trim. I feel like adding a cabinet up there gives a designated spot to put decor. Taking your cabinets to the ceiling can also make them look more designer and high end. It's actually pretty simple to do too!
