Today's Free 4 All challenge was to "look up." I have chosen to look up at the bees, who tirelessly try to re-pollenate the world and make it beautiful. Look at them flying around on that Karen Burniston Photo Collage Pop-Up die mechanism. Lots of different companies' bees on my card -- inside and out. Hello and Welcome! It's Designer Challenge time once again and this months theme is Wedding or Baby! For my card, I used the Surprise Cube Pop-Up to create baby blocks. For this card, I started with a card base of 5 x 10 3/4. I created a 1/4 in folding point in the center to make room for the blocks. I added the flap using the Flap & Closure die set and made the "buttons" on the flap and front along with bakers twine to create a closure for the card. I added patterned paper I had from a baby…

Hello and Welcome! Todays card was made for a very special kid. My best friends Daughter who just recently turned 11. She loves Lilo and Stitch and so when my bestie asked for a card to give her daughter, the first thing I thought of was a pop-up Stitch! I started with the Bitty Ball Pop-Up. I had some scrap cardstock that looked close to the color of Stitch. I luckily had just enough to make him. I cut out the belly pieces with a lighter cardstock and added a bit of "fur" the edges of his…

Hello and Welcome! Today's card features Karen Burniston's Cupcake Pop-Up die set. This was a die that I had never used, so I thought that it was about time I made a cupcake pop-up! I started with a A2 sized top fold card base, using a textured dark blue cardstock. I cut a piece of light blue-gray cardstock to fit the inside of the card where the pop up mechanism would be die cut from. I cut this 4 1/8 x 8 and scored it in the middle at 4in. I adhered the pop-up die and held it down with…

Hello Crafty Friends. It's Designer Challenge time and this month our theme was "From the Vault". We were challenged to take inspiration from a previous card we had made and make a new card from that inspiration!! This one was a hard one for me, because I've made so many different kinds of cards, but I was finally inspired by my first Designer Challenge card I made when I joined the team. This was my previous card that I took inspiration from. For this new card, I chose to use a mini…
