John Derek (born Derek Delevan Harris: 1926-1998) was an actor, director and photographer. He featured in some 20 films such as Knock on Any Door, All the King's Men (both 1949), and as Robin Hood in Rogues of Sherwood Forest (1950). He appeared in early films as Dare Harris but changed to John Derek at the instruction of Humphrey Bogart. He was married to Ursula Andress and launched the career of his fourth wife, Bo Derek who had first co-starred with him when she was just 16.
