It suggests that a roof’s simple definition might be that above it is the sky, and below it is a space and a floor that separates us from the ground. Thus, when stepping out from under the roof’s coverage, one feels outside. Following that concept, I placed another roof on top of two separate roofs, allowing some light to weave through.
