SHOMITA | HOME DESIGN on Instagram: "My best IKEA HACK so far! I wanted a custom built wall unit but they were quoted in the high 5’s by our GC. I also looked at some high end tv wall units from pottery barn and Ballard designs but they were also not very budget friendly. That’s when good old IKEA came in handy! So I got 4 HAVSTA CABINETS with base and 2 HAVSTA shelves in white. The shelves don’t have a back so I added a base board for the back and a crown molding to give it a high end look. Note the base cabinets are not joined to each other , they are simply put together which also makes it easier to move if we have to. The cabinets are fantastic for storage and I use it to shove all my kids toys!
