Shinn Curtis Log House was discovered encased in an old house on old Water Street which is now known as Rancocas Road in Mount Holly, NJ. The cabin was built in 1712 with hand-hewn logs by Thomas Shinn. The Curtis family had possession of the house for 147 years. This log house was discovered in 1967 when the surrounding house was demolished. The log house now sits in an area between Rancocas Rd and Washington Street.
