I love how this is reversed and the guy is laying his head on her lap.

They met on the set of "Christine" (1958), felt in love and she moved with him to Paris. Schneider became engaged to Delon in 1959. They never got married though, they were always delaying it. One of the clearest memories I have from childhood is how I would lay my head in my mom’s lap during church on Sunday’s while she played with my hair. This image reminds me of that ❤️ It’s that in between age, where they still need you so much but the affection they give you has to be on their terms. It serves as a reminder to me about how fleeting this season really is.
