Anna on Instagram: "The making of a handbuilt fluted bowl. I have a few more test cups to fire, weigh and measure for vitrification and absorption, before I decide on a formula for my local clay blend. Good thing I have a few bags of different clays still laying around to use up, while I wait for pots to dry. #Potter #ceramics #handmade #ceramicart" Hand Building Ceramics Ideas, Pottery Planters Handmade, Handmade Cups Ceramic Pottery, Pottery Ideas Handbuilt, Hand Building Pottery Ideas, Handbuilt Pottery Ideas, Soap Dish Diy, Glaze Clay, Handmade Ceramic Bowls

Pinched Pottery on Instagram: "7” in diameter 2” deep coiled/pinched bowl. Made with mid fire dark stoneware clay and glazed with matte green/sage glaze. Started with a ball of clay and added a few coils. I don’t use water or slip when coiling - clay has to be quite soft to be able to blend in well without water/slip. I always rough shape them first, let them dry until they are firm enough to be handled without losing their shape to do the final shaping/pinching. Full making videos are saved on story highlights. . . . . . #stoneware #darkclay #handbuiltpottery #noodlebowl #handbuilding #ceramiclove #rustic #ceramics #tableware #ceramicbowls #soupbowls #pinchpots #coilbuiltpottery #handbuiltceramics #coilpot #pinchedpottery" Pottery Soup Bowl, Coil Built Ceramics, Coilpot Ceramics, Coil Built Pottery, Pinch Pottery Ideas, Coiling Clay, Coil Clay Projects, Clay Handbuilding Ideas, Clay Pinch Pot Ideas

The Pottery Studio | Pottery Studio Sunshine Coast on Instagram: "Straight from the beautiful land, to the table. Pro tip 👍🏼 whenever adding a foot on the bottom of a handbuilt bowl, I always give it a little tappy tap with something flat, to ensure the foot sits perfectly flat on the table once it’s flipped. You are welcome to bring any leaves, rosemary sprigs, flowers, seashells, or bits of nature when you come to one of our Clay & Wine nights. We have plenty of shells and natural products available, and encourage you to give it a go and embrace the combination of nature and clay. ••••• #potterystudio #clay #pottery #create #thepotterystudio #potter #teacher #creative #artist #maker #makersgonnamake #ceramics #practicemakesprogress #creativepractice #sunshinecoast #handbuilding # Handbuilt Pottery Bowls, Flat Ceramics, Pottery Handbuilding Ideas, Handbuilding Pottery Ideas, Handbuilt Bowl, Handbuilt Pottery Ideas, Ceramics Pottery Bowls, Handmade Pottery Bowls, Coil Pots

Pine Lake Pottery on Instagram: "Went down to my studio today not knowing what I wanted to make. I rolled out a big slab and stared at it for a while, thinking I should take advantage of making while I still could. My left wrist surgery is in 48 hours and I just felt like I wanted to make something different. So I decided to hand build a large bowl. This is the largest hand built bowl that I’ve ever made. I’m not sure that I’ll have it fired in time for Valentine’s Day but probably for the best so it can dry it slowly! #Pottery #PotteryLove #Potter #WorkInProgress #HeartBowl #Valentine’sDay #Shop #Clay #ceramics @pottery @clay @potteryforall @lagunaclay @loveinpottery @pottery_videos @potterymakingillustrated" Clay Building Ideas, Hand Building Pottery Ideas, Slab Built Pottery, Slab Pottery Ideas, Surface Decorations, Serving Ideas, Functional Ceramics, Ceramic Succulent, Pottery Videos
