Stacia Miller on Instagram: "Yesterday, I posted a reel showing gold, bronze, and silver sharpies resisting glaze slurry. But I had quite a few requests for the fired result! So here it is.  I usually use brown clay, and the sharpie appears to burn off in the kiln. @earthlovebydani said that silver sharpie did not burn off of her clay body at cone six! So now I’m curious to try all three on a light clay body.   When looking very closely at the fired test tile, the bronze line might look just a tiny bit darker than the gold line-so maybe it doesn’t burn off!  I also got a question about whether it can be used between two layers of glaze. I’m curious. I’ll try these things, and post the results, but unfortunately it will probably be almost a month til my next kiln firing.
