I'm a Los Angeles based multi-cultural artist. My artworks takes a critical view of social, political and cultural issues and shows the contradiction between the inner and outer faces of human beings. It explores the varying relationship between tradition and fine art.

Figurative artist Leah Kelly works with oils, acrylics and charcoal to merge portraiture and surrealism. An unusual combination of faces and bodies in a representational art style is used to express emotions and experiences common within the female experiences. Women’s suffering, power, and emotions are expressed- translated through original ideas and compositions, or retellings of iconic imagery.

The young Cuban born artist Darian Rodriguez Mederos works primarily in oil on canvas, his subject rarely strays from large photorealistic faces. The painter uses bubble wrap to create an abstraction of the subject, then paints the abstraction in photorealism. Mederos’ artwork is available at Conde Contemporary, an art gallery formerly located in Miami, now located in Natchez, Mississippi.
