Misty Island. It is one of a series of images I did for a friend of mine for his new music video. It tells a short story of pirates who discover a mysterious Island in the mist after they hear a beautiful mesmerizing chant. Our goal was to do images which leave room for interpretation as long as possible. So the listener has enough freedom to let his imagination run free. Game concept for an island inhabited by tribal-themed pirates to inhabit.

I'm finally starting to understand Pro-create. Loving the brushes and tactile experience. This time I wanted to overide my fear of using bold colours and was thinking back to my years as a kid in the late 70's and early 80's and some of the album cover art we had back then. I used heavily textured brushes in Procreate and Photoshop. Lots of inspiring refs from amazing artists used in the process.
