Katelynn, 15 year old Sophomore, Female, Charcoal Drawing, Mendota High School, 2015. This was not a project assigned through my class, but a weekend project a very talented and motivated student worked on to better herself. She used Charcoal and focused on the face, but decided to crack the image as if it were a porcelain doll that had been dropped. This student has steadily improved from year 1 to 2 and is hoping to someday go to school for Art.
