Research indicates that red and warm colours draw people further into retail and restaurant environments; these colours attract attention and encourage ingress (Bellizzi, Crowley & Hasty,1983). However, there are many factors that influence purchase behaviour: product mix, pricing policy, store ambience, store layout, and budget considerations.
