Researchers have experimented with using old coffee grounds as an eco-friendly and cost-efficient way to neutralize toxic odors in sewage plants. Spread the grounds out on a cookie sheet and bake them in a 250-degree oven for two or three minutes. You can then set them out in a jar with the lid off or fill fabric sachets with the grounds, and stick them in musty corners of the house. Learn more here.
