At the beginning of the year the students and teacher can make rules that they will follow in the classroom. When a problem does occur the teacher can remind them of the promises they made. It will want to be placed in the classroom where everyone can see it all year. Signing the constitution would make this more personal and should help them understand that following the rules is important. 2713 Organisation, Fourth Grade Social Studies, Classroom Constitution, Patriotic Classroom Theme, Label Organization, Middle School Social Studies Classroom, Social Studies Bulletin Boards, Patriotic Classroom, Middle School History

(if you want to know more about that, I actually wrote my thesis on it last year and condensed all the most interesting parts into a…

1-2-3 Come Do Some Constitution Day Activities With Me With a federal mandate that any schools accepting federal funds, need to do some educational activity associated with the Constitution, on September 17th, I wanted to think up something that my Y5’s could easily understand. With everything else that teachers have to cover, I also wanted what we did to be something simple and especially relevant to them. This packet does exactly that, because I've tied it into classroom management: jobs…
