He and his immediate descendants were classified as the "Old Dynasty" and ruled Narnia and later Archenland, until the end of the Age of Conquest. Fledge, originally named Strawberry on Earth, was once Frank the Cabby's horse, and later the first Flying Horse of Narnia. Born a dumb horse in England, Fledge was originally named Strawberry. His sire was an officer's charger in the English cavalry. His owner, Frank the cabman (later Frank I of Narnia) used him to pull a Hansom cab in London.
