This is the latest character I've been working on in my free time! Have always had a fascination with odd looking fairy creatures and decided to finally indulge in it. Learned a lot just trying new stuff out with this project and had a lot of fun figuring out her final look.

A changeling was believed to be a fairy child that had been left in place of a human child stolen by the fairies. The theme of the swapped child is common in medieval literature and reflects concern over infants thought to be afflicted with unexplained diseases, disorders, or developmental disabilities.

Changelings-Many Fay & Gnome breeds are known for stealing human infants, often replacing them w/a substitute of their own kind.The reasons for this varied,from Fey wanting to diversify/strengthen their own biological stock,or needing the child as sacrifice to pay their Teind to Hell.The Changeling(Plentyn-Newid, Killcrops, Sibhreach, Crimbils & Sharg Bairns)could either be a Fey child or an extremely old Fay.Changelings are initially Glamorized to closely resemble the stolen child.2-1
