HAPPY SUNDAY!!! Nothing screams Sunday like a good savory roast! Here’s how i make mine!!

INGREDIENTS:
Beef chuck roast (2-3 pounds)
Garlic (10 cloves minced)
Salt (2-3 tbs)
Pepper (2-3 tbs)
Water (1 c)
Onion (1 thinly sliced)
Oil (1-2 tbs)
Constarch slurry (1-2 tbs & enough water to make it dissolve) 

DIRECTIONS:
- Heavily salt & pepper all sides of roast
- In a Dutch oven (or deep pot) on medium to high heat, add 1-2 tablespoons of oil 
- Sear all sides of meat until crust is formed. (timing will depend on pot and temperature of stove.) remove and set aside.
- Thinly slice onions and layer in bottom of baking dish
