When I got my first tattoo, there were a lot of things I worried about. What if the design I picked doesn't transfer well on the skin? What if the artist gets a hand (or brain) tremor and I end up with one of those tattoos from the realm of "No Ragrets"? What if the tattoo ages horribly and bleeds out into the skin later?

What unites Georgia O’Keeffe, Claude Monet, and Vincent Van Gogh, the authors behind some of the most famous paintings, is their fondness for depicting flowers. Flowers possess timeless beauty; thus, their appeal, whether displayed on canvas, paper, or skin, is unlikely to ever cease. Hence, it should come as no surprise that in 2022, flower tattoos ranked fourth as the most popular tattoo style in the US.

You know the saying, “Don’t judge a book by its cover?” The same rule can be changed into “Don’t judge a person by its ink.” Getting some body art inked is probably one of the best ways for self-expression—be it a drawing in remembrance of your past beliefs, shenanigans or a minimal tattoo filled with deep meanings. No tattoo design is meaningless or ugly because there’s always something bigger behind it. At least to the person who chose the unique tattoo, that is.
