Aids poster

A poster design for the good50x70 social communication poster design competition. The concept plays on the relationship between education (the key) and persecution (the handcuffs) and the ribbon-stylised handcuffs and red colour help to get the subject matter across. Essentially, if people were properly educated the key (which is currently non-existent on the page due to a lack of education) could be used to unlock the cuffs, in the process destroying the ribbons and kicking AIDS into touch.

From that moment on, Keith Haring launched an active campaign against the suppression of the problems of AIDS patients, the danger of this disease became one of the constant themes in his works. To this day, Keith Haring remains the most famous and most active AIDS fighter artist. Inspired by Keith's works, I created a series of posters in his style.
